Unplug is a manifesto about regaining control of your life. There’s so much going on all around us, all of the time. News broadcasts, TV shows, magazines, advertisements, email, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, cell phones, and countless other interruptions that steal our focus. How are we supposed to enjoy our life when our attention is perpetually being pulled from one thing to another? It gets very tiring, and by the end of the day, we’re exhausted. This short piece is for anyone who feels overrun by the ridiculous amount of nonessential bullshit that surrounds them. It’s time to grab your attention and put it back onto what you care about most.
Unplug is an unconventional, brief, and very simple eBook that discusses disconnecting the distractions in your life so you can spend more time doing the things you love.
Disconnect from distractions, Reconnect with what you love.
Best of all, it’s 100% FREE.
*Unplug should work on all computers with Adobe Reader installed
So, who am I to write something like this? A man doing his best to enjoy the journey. My credentials are nothing special: I don’t have any unique accreditation or certificate that labels me an “expert,” but I do have years of life experiences in which I’ve learned, and re-learned, what I value in this world (you can check out more on my About page).
Here’s what others are saying about Unplug…
“It’s Art – it’s brilliantly put together, and flows beautifully. I love the piece on values… well written – beautiful – this is one of my favorite lines: ‘Take anything not connected to your values and begin unplugging them; one at a time.’ You inspire me to write more :)”
– George Ira Carroll (Badass Life Coach & World Renowned Speaker)
“What I like the most is your honesty. You are boldly moving forward with life and have decided to deal with less bullshit. This is refreshing and it has motivated me to try some different things to disconnect from the BS. I was able to turn my phone off on my recent vacation and it was amazing how free I felt.”
– Quinn Botkins
“I think we are all subject to information overload. I think you are right in that we all need to unplug and stop ‘multi-tasking’. I am a fan of simplification. In fact, in the short time I was reading it, someone started talking outside my office door and I couldn’t concentrate on the book anymore. I waited to finish, but in the meantime I checked up on a bunch of less relevant stuff (FB, Stocks, Scores, Etc…) I liked that the book ‘walked the walk’. It was about simplification and the book was simple, neat, and concise. It was teaching by example.”
